What is Collagen ?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, accounting for roughly 30% of all proteins. It is the “glue” that holds us together. Unfortunately, as we age, the body’s ability to produce its own collagen decreases significantly, contributing to effects of aging*

What types of Collagen are in your Products?

Both of our collagen products are packed with Types 1 and 3 collagen.  This is so important because, type 1 and 3 Collagen constitutes 90% of Collagen found in our body, making it essential for maintaining healthy skin, muscles, bones, digestive systems, blood vessels, joints, & tendons*

What is Hydrolyzed or Hydrolsate Collagen

Hydrolyzed (or Hydrolsated) collagen is very similar to beef gelatin, with notable differences. Gelatin is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties but it is messy, limited in its usability and hard to digest.

Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides and Bone Broth Hydrolyzed Proteins undergoes an enzymatic process to breakup the large, hard to digest and absorb proteins into their basic form. Because our peptides have a low molecular weight, the body is better able to digest, absorb and utilize the collagen*

What is the difference between "beef" collagen and collagen from bone broth?

This is a great question! “Beef” collagen or collagen from beef, is typically collagen sourced from cow hide. Bone Broth Hydrolyzed Peptides, on the other hand, are derived from cow bones.

Both supplement powders are great for types 1 and 3 collagen and packed with protien. However, for those looking for additional bone and joint support and anti-aging properties, Bone Broth Hydrolyzed Peptides is packed with Glucosamine, Chondriton and Hyaluronic Acid. Additionally, with Bone Broth Protein, you get the added benefits of mineral found in bone.

How do i dissolve collagen and bone broth powder?

This is a great question!  It is important to understand that the 2 products are very different from each other. Collagen powder is just that, collagen powder.  It dissolves easily in both hot and cold liquids with a little mixing.

Bone Broth power on the other hand is Bone Broth Protein, which contains 22.25 grams of collagen plus all the minerals and nutrients derived from bones.  Because of these naturally occurring benefits, bone broth powder does require a bit more mixing.  It is intended to be WHISKED into HOT beverages or BLENDED into cold beverages such as, shakes or smoothies. We do not recommend using a spoon or fork for mixing.

In hot beverages:

add 1/2 of hot liquid to the cup. Then add 1 scoop of the bone broth powder.

Using a WHISK, mix until the “protein bubble” have dissolved (about a minute).

Pour remaining hot liquid into the cup and give it a final stir. Enjoy

In cold beverages:

Add 1 scoop of bone broth protein powder at the very end of the blending process.

Blend on Low for a second or two.  Over blending will cause the protein to natural foam.
